“Sap green” is a marketing word. The pigment code on the tube — PG7, PY150 — tells you what is actually inside and whether it will still be that colour in ten years. Student ranges hit the same colour names with cheaper, fugitive pigments and more filler. Pigment Phuket prints the codes on the shelf edge, which is a small thing that tells you exactly who the shop is for.
