Tiger Muay Thai has trained foreigners since 2003 and grew into one of the largest fight camps in the country, with more than 150 classes a week across Muay Thai, MMA, Brazilian jiu jitsu and fitness. Valentina Shevchenko and Alexander Volkanovski have both trained here, and the camp has its own rooms, a restaurant and a weight room. Classes are split by level, so a first timer starts in a beginner group and moves up once the basics are in place.

AKA Thailand was founded and designed by Mike Swick, a veteran of fifteen UFC fights, and it was the first full service fight camp to open in Phuket. The grounds hold an oversized Muay Thai area, a large indoor room for MMA and grappling, a full weight room, a saltwater pool and the Contender Cafe for meals between sessions. A lookout tower on the property faces the ocean and the jungle, and the camp takes everyone from first timers to fighters preparing for a bout.

Sinbi Muay Thai was founded in 2007 by Sing, a former South Thailand champion and K-1 fighter, and his family still runs it, with his brother BaoV among the trainers. The open plan gym sits on a rise that catches the sea breeze, and most of its trainers are fighters with title belts from the Bangkok stadiums. Sinbi promotes fights in its own stadium, keeps a large equipment shop and has apartments with a pool and rooftop terrace.

How the points work
We read every independent published best-of list we can find for the question. Each list gives 10 points for first place, 9 for second, down to 1 for tenth, and 5 points to each place on a list with no order. Points are added up. A business must be in the top 10 of at least two lists to be ranked. Rankings are never sold. Full method.
