Layan Vet Clinic is run by a Thai vet who speaks good English, and problems that drag on for weeks tend to be sorted out here in days. Blood tests run in house in about 15 minutes, with ultrasound and x-ray on hand, so a diagnosis often comes on the first visit. The clinic prepares pet passports and the papers for taking cats and dogs out of Thailand, and they also board animals.

J&D Veterinary is a clinic that pet owners recommend to each other for straight advice and fair bills, with nothing done that is not needed. Its vet takes on complicated cases and gives time to every question, so owners leave knowing what is wrong and why. The clinic has long experience preparing cats and dogs for moves overseas, with the paperwork Thailand requires.
