The Happy Baby Studios at Sunwing sit on the ground floor behind a gated terrace that locks, and come with a cot, high chair, stroller, baby bath and potty. There are nine pools, one of them down in front of the beach, plus several waterslides, and children eat free with a paying adult at every meal after the included breakfast. Lollo and Bernie put on shows for the children, the kids club has its own mini theater, and all the chicken and meat served at the resort is halal.

The Hyatt Regency runs its own Marine Biological Center, whose team leads low-tide shore walks and guided snorkeling on the house reef. Camp Hyatt has a treehouse-style Halo Cubic play system from Finland, the first in Thailand, and the infinity pool has a kids' pool beside it. Brunch at The Pool House Kitchen comes with free use of the kids club and pool, and Casa Boho, the rooftop Latin restaurant, looks out over Kamala Bay at sunset.
