Palm Spa's prices come in under many of the massage shops along Kata's main streets, with an hour of foot massage at 300 baht and tea and biscuit sticks to finish. The menu runs from Thai and aromatherapy oil massage to treatments aimed at one part of the body and longer programs that add a scrub. Its rooms are spacious and simply decorated with a few Thai touches, three floors up in Palm Square, where a painted crab on the wall marks the way.

Sirada Massage by Yaya is a spotless shop across the road from the Centara Kata Resort. Tan has a following for her foot massage technique. Alongside massage, the shop does manicures and gel nails.

InBalance, the spa at Novotel Phuket Kata Avista, was named Best Luxury Hotel Spa in Thailand at the 2024 World Luxury Spa Awards and won a Tripadvisor Travelers' Choice award in 2025. Its traditional Thai massage centers on stretching and posture, and the Deep Muscle Massage brings sports-massage pressure for anyone who wants it firm. The resort sits on the hillside above Kata and Karon, and the spa has its own nail salon.

Its facial moves from cleansing and a mask into a head, neck and hand massage. The staff are patient with children, and they braid hair too, from simple braids to dreadlocks.
