Xana is the beach club of Angsana Laguna, all white, with a long pool running toward the sea and a swim-up bar along one side. By day it is calmer than the busier clubs on Bang Tao, and outsiders can buy a day pass and open a tab. At sunset people move to the round sofas on the sand, and after dark a resident DJ plays funk, soul, disco and deep house.

A DJ plays deep house every day at Casuarina Beach Club, the Dusit Thani Laguna's beach club on Bang Tao Beach, and after dark there is a fire show, seen best from the outside tables. The kitchen serves Mediterranean-style plates for sharing alongside fresh seafood, with a selection of sparkling rosé to drink with them. Its tables sit under the beach pines, and when dinner is done the bar next door takes over for after-dinner drinks.
