Banyan Tree Spa Phuket gives every treatment its own villa in a tropical garden, and its signature Royal Banyan works Eastern and Western massage together with warm herbal pouches. Oasis Spa's Turquoise Cove branch is entered through a Chino-Portuguese archway, and Moroccan furnishings inside give it a Mediterranean feel. Treatments take place in villas with terrazzo baths, and the grounds add outdoor rain showers, a Thai herbal steam cave and a swimming pool. The group also runs a hilltop spa above Kata and another in Laguna, and it sends a car for guests staying in Patong, Surin and Kamala.

Let's Relax Spa is a Thai spa chain with branches in Patong, Karon, Kata and Boat Lagoon, so there is usually one close to where you are staying. It costs far less than the resort spas ranked above it, with a 90 minute foot, shoulder and head massage costing 1,100 baht at the Patong Third Street branch, and covers Thai massage, reflexology, aromatherapy and facials. Its packages go beyond the standard menu, such as Golfers' Heaven, which pairs foot reflexology with a 90 minute hot stone massage, and a four hands Thai massage with two therapists working at once.
