Kim's runs several massage houses across Phuket Old Town, including one on Thalang Road at the heart of the weekend walking street. Its three-hour Kim's Secret package moves from a body scrub into a coconut oil massage before ending with a head and facial treatment. Tea arrives before and after each treatment, with cookies on the side.

Soul Senses is a calm, beautifully kept spa in Phuket Old Town, where each massage begins with a foot scrub. Before the treatment, guests mark a body diagram to show where they want more pressure. The house combination pairs traditional Thai massage with an aromatherapy oil massage, with lemongrass among the oils.
“A very beautiful place to relax and spend some quiet time; the hospitality was wonderful.”

How the points work
We read every independent published best-of list we can find for the question.
