Bandara Pool Villas climbs a steep hillside above Ao Yon Beach, a quiet bay on Cape Panwa, and each villa has its own infinity pool and sun deck facing the sea. The villas run from 60 square meters to a two-story villa with two bedrooms and a pool more than eight meters long. Sumpao, the restaurant, serves Thai and international food on a terrace with sea views, and kayaks and paddleboards are there for guests to take out on the bay.

The Mooring Resort is a small group of teak-furnished bungalows set right on the sand of Ao Yon's smaller beach, a stretch so quiet that Phuket 101 calls it almost private. Guests spend the day in a hammock or by the pool, and the bay is calm enough to take the resort's kayaks out. The Cove, an open-air beach restaurant next door, cooks Thai and Western food and brings it to the rooms, and pets are welcome.

Kantary Bay sits beside the Phuket Aquarium on Cape Panwa, a hotel of suites with kitchenettes that suits families and longer stays. The grounds are thick with trees and well kept, and the long rooftop pool looks out over the Andaman Sea. A free shuttle runs every few minutes to the private beach of its sister resort, Cape Panwa Hotel, and small restaurants surround the hotel.
