Patong Beach Hotel by See2Sea faces the middle of Patong Beach from across the road, with the bars of Bangla Road a few steps behind it. The rooms that look onto the pool are the quiet ones, and some open straight into the water. Baitong, the poolside restaurant, serves Thai and international food through the day.

Sawaddi's two large pools play music through the day, and Ploendi, the poolside bar, keeps the drinks coming beside them. Bangla Road is about a ten minute walk away, and Patong Boxing Stadium is closer still, five minutes on foot. Families get a free kids club and a children's pool, and some studios open straight onto the water.
