Churrasco Phuket Steakhouse is a South American steakhouse opened in 2012 by two friends who had lived in South America for years and wanted to bring its grill cooking to the island. The kitchen works with imported Wagyu and Black Angus, and the Wagyu picanha, the Brazilian rump cap cut, comes with a homemade béarnaise. The dining room is large and cozy, the wine list is long, and the meat is halal.

ASADO Gaucho Grill & Bar is an Argentine steakhouse built around an open parrilla, a charcoal grill in full view of the tables. The beef comes from one of Thailand's top importers, and it goes out with salsa verde and polenta Parmesan fries. Every main course includes a side and a sauce, prices already cover service and tax, and the bar pours wine and Belgian beers for anyone stopping in just for a drink.

Passione is a family-run Italian and Argentine restaurant and cafe where chef Angelo does the cooking himself. The kitchen makes its own bread, cold cuts and many of its cheeses, and the menu includes beef empanadas and bruschetta. Portions are generous, there are plenty of vegetarian options, and it pays to call ahead and order before arriving.
“Passion is the adjective to describe Angelo the chef.”

How the points work
We read every independent published best-of list we can find for the question. Each list gives 10 points for first place, 9 for second, down to 1 for tenth, and 5 points to each place on a list with no order. Points are added up. A business must be in the top 10 of at least two lists to be ranked, unless only one list exists. Rankings are never sold. Full method.
