ESTA HOUSE BAR & GRILL

10Named on only one list

Guests at ESTA House leave their shoes at the door and settle onto a soft floor in the dining area, which gives this small Chalong bar the feel of someone's living room. The kitchen grills burgers and also makes draniki, Belarusian potato pancakes, and the bar mixes cocktails until well after midnight. The owners run the room themselves, with easygoing reggae kept low in the background.

“Esta house is a salvation for hungry people after midnight in Chalong.”

How the points work

We read every independent published best-of list we can find for the question. Each list gives 10 points for first place, 9 for second, down to 1 for tenth, and 5 points to each place on a list with no order. Points are added up. A business must be in the top 10 of at least two lists to be ranked. Rankings are never sold. Full method.

Lists more than five years old normally do not count. For this question, lists up to ten years old were kept, because without them there would not be enough rankings to answer the question.
