New York Live Music Bar is a big, dim live music bar with an open front, and its sound system carries the band out into the street as well as through the room. The bands play heavy rock and hip hop alongside pop and chart hits, with a stage show built to hold a crowd that has other live bands a few doors away. Requests are taken, and people from the floor get pulled into jam sessions.
“The live music was outstanding, and the performers were incredibly talented.”

Bebop Live Music Bar is a jazz bar run by Boy Navio, a guitarist with more than 25 years of playing, who outgrew his small shophouse and moved the bar into a much larger room in 2026. A grand piano anchors the stage, set among brass pillars and arches, green velvet curtains, a long green marble bar and portraits of jazz legends. The house band works through jazz standards, soul and blues, some nights as an acoustic set and others as a full band with saxophone and drums.

Hard Rock Cafe Phuket spreads across two levels and 1,330 square meters in Patong, and the house band plays out on the terrace, which is the first part of the room to fill. The band works through rock classics, with plenty of 80s rock in the set. Ribs, chicken and pork come off a hardwood smoker, and the burgers are built on 250-gram beef patties.
“This was the best music I heard since Bangkok and in Phuket.”

How the points work
We read every independent published best-of list we can find for the question. Each list gives 10 points for first place, 9 for second, down to 1 for tenth, and 5 points to each place on a list with no order. Points are added up. A business must be in the top 10 of at least two lists to be ranked. Rankings are never sold. Full method.
