Central Phuket is the biggest shopping complex on the island, two wings on either side of a main road in Phuket Town with a glass sky bridge between them. Festival, the older wing, is for everyday shopping at chains such as Uniqlo and Zara, and Floresta across the road holds the luxury flagships, from Louis Vuitton and Hermes to the Thai silk label Jim Thompson. A free shuttle runs from Patong during the day, and the Aquaria aquarium in the Floresta basement gives children something to enjoy.
“Central Phuket is a huge mall and really easy to get around once you’re inside.”

Jungceylon is Patong's main shopping mall, a few minutes' walk from Bangla Road and about 400 meters from the beach. It reopened in 2024 after a two-year renovation, and its fashion floors now center on a two-floor Uniqlo, with souvenir stalls and a Thai food court in the basement below. In the open-air court called The Bay, a Chinese junk boat stands in the water, and fountain and light shows play around it in the evening.
“The mall is large, modern, and very well designed, with different themed areas and plenty of space to walk around comfortably.”

“There are many shops, a big supermarket, and a food court, so it’s easy to spend a few hours walking around and browsing.”

Central Group built Porto de Phuket as an open-air mall in Bang Tao, its shops spread along walkways across a large site beside Boat Avenue. Restaurants are a large part of it, from Suay Thai and Spice House to Little Roma and The Farmer and The Fisherman. Between meals there is a Let's Relax spa for a massage and a Central Food Hall supermarket for the weekly shop.
“Especially the restaurant and cafe options are quite successful.”

Limelight Avenue opened in February 2015 on the site of Talad Poi Kong, the old Indy Market, and its open-air zone was built as a tribute to it. The Indy Night Market still sets up just outside on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, with creative stalls, local snacks and live music. Inside, a Tops supermarket and Tom n Tom Coffee anchor two floors of fashion shops and food stalls.
“A fun little mall that packs a punch in the heart of the Old Town Phuket.”

How the points work
We read every independent published best-of list we can find for the question. Each list gives 10 points for first place, 9 for second, down to 1 for tenth, and 5 points to each place on a list with no order. Points are added up. A business must be in the top 10 of at least two lists to be ranked. Rankings are never sold. Full method.
