The Vegan Table has cooked a fully plant-based menu on Ratsada Road in Old Phuket Town since 2018, and a second branch followed in Bangkok. The kitchen makes its own mozzarella and a plant-based chicken, and its avocado burger swaps the bun for a whole pitted avocado. Prices are modest, and the menu mixes Thai dishes with pizza and burgers.
“Great atmosphere, friendly service, exceptional tastes, and good protein options.”

SOUL was the first fully plant-based restaurant in Karon Beach, about 200 meters from the sand, with a Union Jack tuk-tuk parked at its entrance. Tables sit in a shaded garden of white wicker sofas under big trees, and the menu covers both Thai curries and Western plates such as pizza and smoothie bowls. The cafe also hosts Sunday morning yoga and sound healing sessions, and the ice cream is made on site.
“Their menu selection is conscious of gluten free eaters as well, not charging extra for needing to eat gluten free bread.”

Vegan Phuket is a small garden restaurant in Wichit, off the usual tourist path, run by owners who are vegan themselves. It cooks traditional Thai dishes such as green curry and tom yum entirely without animal products, and the flavors stay Thai instead of leaning toward Western vegan food. Kombucha and cakes are made in house, and portions are generous for the price.

How the points work
We read every independent published best-of list we can find for the question. Each list gives 10 points for first place, 9 for second, down to 1 for tenth, and 5 points to each place on a list with no order. Points are added up. A business must be in the top 10 of at least two lists to be ranked. Rankings are never sold. Full method.
