Wilson's is an Australian-style cafe that Jim and Rung Winter opened in Rawai in 2016, and it serves breakfast all day, from poached eggs on sourdough to steak and eggs made with Australian beef. Juices are slow-pressed, such as the Ranga of orange, carrot and ginger, and the coffee is strong. From mid-afternoon the kitchen adds Thai dishes, among them a black fried rice of black jasmine rice and quinoa under a fried egg, and the inner garden is the nicest place to sit.

The Breakfast Hut is Noy's small breakfast room on Soi Saiyuan in Rawai, full of plants and morning light. Her homemade hash browns are the star of the Canadian breakfast, served with bacon and scrambled eggs. Noy's warm welcome brings travelers back year after year.
