Pure Vegan Heaven is an all vegan cafe, one of a small group with sister kitchens in Chiang Mai, Koh Phangan and Koh Samui, and it cooks with produce bought from local farmers. The kitchen mixes Thai cooking with Western brunch plates, so a Thai curry bowl can share the table with waffles or a mushroom pita with crispy falafel. Coffee is drip brewed from Ethiopian and Brazilian beans, and the açaí bowls come in a generous size.

The Distillery Phuket is the home of Chalong Bay rum, combining a working craft distillery with a Thai fusion restaurant and cocktail bar in a garden setting in Chalong. Visitors can take a tour with a tasting of the house rum, gin and vodka, or join a cocktail workshop and mix their own. The kitchen serves Thai fusion plates such as eggplant salad, tacos and fresh rolls, at outdoor tables only.

Cappadocia Turkish Restaurant Chalong is the Chalong branch of a Turkish restaurant group in Thailand, serving halal Turkish and Mediterranean food such as kebabs, pides, mezze and wraps. The Chalong site has a large garden with outdoor seating. Ornate Turkish lamps and Turkish music set the mood inside, and the grilled meats and baked flatbread come in portions big enough to share.
