Waylany Kids Cafe is one of the best places in Phuket to take children on a rainy day. Inside are a giant construction set, a dry ball pit, a sandbox of wooden sand, and pneumatic tubes that send plastic balls flying, all kept spotless by the staff. Thai and European dishes fill the menu, with children's meals served on airplane-shaped plates.

Gagarin Chaihana takes its name from the chaihana, the teahouse of Central Asia, and cooks the dishes of that region and the Caucasus alongside borscht. Diners rave about the khinkali, Georgian dumplings filled with meat and broth. A separate playroom full of toys and games keeps children busy through the meal.
“A big bonus for families is the convenient kids’ playroom, which kept the little ones entertained while we enjoyed our meal.”
