Mr. Gung is a Korean barbecue buffet that its Korean owner has run for about 15 years, and one price buys an evening at the table grill with no time limit. The pork belly and marinated pork are cut thick so they hold up on the grill, and ice cream and fresh fruit are included for dessert. A renovation added an indoor room with proper hood fans alongside the original open-air dining area.

Ceres is a Korean restaurant in two modern dining rooms ringed by large windows, with a terrace that is half outdoors and plenty of space between tables. The LA galbi, marinated beef ribs, is served on a hot plate, and the kitchen cooks the pork before sending it out on a cast iron pan, so diners do not leave smelling of smoke. Up to 15 side dishes come with each order, refilled on request and changed from visit to visit.
