Kamala Beach Plaza is two rows of small shops between the beach and Rim Hat Road, with entrances on both sides. Stalls there sell beachwear and souvenirs alongside a mini-mart.
The food section is the heart of Kamala's market, which sets up across the road from Phuket FantaSea, and its stalls run from local dishes and grilled skewers to coconut ice cream. There are two seating areas for eating at a table, and many of the stalls cook halal. Beyond the food, traders sell clothes and accessories alongside gadgets and toys, and haggling is part of the fun.

Kamala Walk Way is a short pedestrian lane in the middle of the village, planted on both sides with tropical trees and lit with care after dark. About a dozen small shops open onto it, from art galleries and a tattoo studio to a tailor and massage parlors.
Big C in Kamala pairs a large supermarket with a small mall of shops selling clothes, sunglasses and phone accessories. Fresh fruit and vegetables fill the market side, and prices are fair for the village. Visitors on longer stays come here to stock up for the week.
